Lemar works with local and national waste agencies and disposal site management to provide a wide range of state-of-the-art waste-related services:
Engineering — Our engineers are talented and versatile. From solid waste facility siting, facility design, and permitting to recycling and processing design, as well as state-of-the-art SCADA system design and installation, we can develop a solution to fit your needs. Lemar engineers are also able to assist with gas and leachate management, airspace management, storm water management, compost design and management, and hydrogeological assessment and monitoring.
Planning — Our skill sets extend beyond the traditional engineering firm. Our expert staff looks at the big picture and is able to provide services including master planning, research, grant writing, and comprehensive plan development. We can also provide insight into projects through contract development and management, economic analysis, curbside participation and efficiency studies, waste composition studies, on-site commercial/industrial reuse, public outreach and education, community visioning, base year evaluation; and integrated solid waste management program assessment, evaluation, and development.
Sustainable Applications — Sustainable applications and designs that decrease environmental footprints and improve reduce operational costs are a specialty service of Lemar. Carbon emission reductions, reducing mitigation, and developing specialized pollution prevention equipment are some of the innovative services Barker Lemar staff promote for our client’s projects and that we install on our own property.
Construction — Allow Lemar employees to provide construction quality assurance (CQA) for your next project. We provide this for landfill cell construction, landfill final cover placement, gas and leachate systems, storm water structures, transfer stations, HHM, recycling, CCC, compost, and ancillary facilities. Modification CQA is also available for these facilities.
Facility Operations — We offer a wide range of site management services, including alternative and daily intermediate covers, efficiency evaluations, airspace, staking and survey boundary. Gas, leachate, storm water, landfill, compost, transfer station, recycling center, HHM, and land application facilities are also included. We also provide annual pump maintenance programs.
Compliance — We recognize the necessity of conducting your business in a timely and regulated fashion. Lemar staff is happy to help you achieve this through financial assurance, permit renewals, groundwater monitoring, water quality reporting, methane monitoring, site inspections, special waste authorizations, and regulatory assistance.
