Solid Waste Client Testimonials
“The Cass County Environmental Control Agency, consisting of Cass County and the Cities of Anita, Atlantic, Cumberland, Griswold, Lewis, Marne, Massena, and Wiota have had a positive relationship with Barker Lemar Engineering Consultants for many years. They have been instrumental in maintaining compliance with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources rules and regulations.
Their professionalism and experience in many areas has helped us establish a realistic plan for implementation of several different programs in our area as well as compile all the data necessary to provide to our general public.
Their staff was instrumental in helping prepare our facility to become Iowa's First Balefill operation. Their leadership role in the solid waste industry has provided us with a comfort level of achieving and maintaining compliance to rules and regulations as they continue to change.
It has been my pleasure to work with this firm and look forward to a continued relationship for all aspects of our solid waste needs.”

“Prairie Solid Waste Agency worked with Barker Lemar and Associates on our Iowa Department of Natural Resources Comprehensive Plan Update due May 1, 2003. They performed surveys, data analysis, help two vision planning sessions, and general assistance when I needed it. They are good people to work with, and I would recommend them without hesitation!”

“I recently had the opportunity to hear a presentation by Tim Buelow. I wanted to take a few minutes to comment on Mr. Buelow.
Mr. Buelow was put in a very hostile environment. He handled himself extremely well. When asked questions he answered them using whatever engineering criteria he needed. More important to me was that he never talked around an answer. If he didn't have an exact answer he told us that and explained why he couldn't be more precise.
To his credit he never appeared upset because of the questions. In some instances he was not part of the conversations but was suddenly called upon to answer a question. His knowledge of the project allowed him to without hesitation provide understandable answers to a group of voices.
As a board member I appreciate the straight forwardness of his answers. I also appreciate the fact that in this controversy he didn't allow himself to become part of either side. Because of this he was able to provide information accepted by all. His answers convinced me he wasn't trying to sell me on something, but was providing me information to assist me in my decision.
I would like to thank Mr. Buelow for his assistance in helping us make a tough decision.”
