Senior Engineer:
Barker Lemar Engineering Consultants is filling the position of Senior Engineer for the St. Louis office. This position is intended to develop as the lead engineer position in the St. Louis office for solid waste/landfill projects (50%), remediation projects (30%), environmental civil engineering projects (20%), and other engineering (10%).
Work responsibilities will include providing senior level engineering evaluation and design activities on projects including professional engineering sealing of documents, development of new work and client opportunities, project management, developing/mentoring junior level engineering staff, ….
Qualified candidates will have a (minimum) BS (MS or PhD preferred) in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a minimum of 10 years experience in solid waste/landfill engineering and design experience, demonstrated experience with the regulatory community (MO, IL and federal minimum), minimum 5 years experience in engineering/design of remediation systems (including UST systems, bioremediation, chemical remediation…), and 3-5 years experience in environmental/civil engineering (e.g., earth/ground movement control/construction management; stormwater management, control, design, construction; curb/gutter design, sustainable development/design, green development, energy system evaluation;…) . Position requires a registered professional engineer (PE) for MO and IL (minimum); TN and AR (useful).
